Write Out Loud Sale

Was a fab night, really enjoyed myself. I livestreamed it on Facebook, which of course was a stupid thing to do. It got loads of Facebook views, and a handful of new Facebook followers, but gave them control of my video, so the link from here didn’t work for very long. I’ve taken the link down from my blog, as it just leads to other people’s videos now. Mine is still up on my Facebook page, but unless I can get to a working computer before it expires, I’m going to end up losing that. It’s no biggie, but was not the cleverest move.

Note to self (and anyone else who’s interested): don’t do that. Take your own video, keep control of it, and just make a small reel to give to them!

I am picking up more guest slots for 2024, if anybody out there wants to join the bandwagon and book me! Got a handful in the bag now and I’d love some more.

Steamy Stuff!

Note: I’ve just discovered that this video is missing the final 10 seconds. No internet where I am – I’ll replace it with the full version as soon as I move somewhere with enough signal!

I wrote this for Poetry Vs Noise and I love it! Think I’ll start using it as my regular set opener. I can now sandwich serious poems between a comical start and finish.
