Lovely podium finish at Northwich.  Top night!  So nice to be back in the running again.  I think I’ve been out of sorts with myself and it comes across on stage. 

I was pipped to the post by the most excellent Graham Bell and the worthy winner, Scott Parry.

It was really good to see and chat to the guest poet for the evening, Rod Tame, as well.

Also met interesting people whilst out dog walking.  Generally, a good trip.  Would return!

I’ll be back in the gazebo outside The Sair again on 12th July at Linthwaite Leadboilers Festival. 

It’s a brilliant local free festival.  My personal highlights have to be the dog show and the race to carry a hay bale up the impossible hill.  Well worth watching.  Come along!

Fantastic slam, excellent poetry and performances all round.  Other than Hudds, I wasn’t planning to do any slams this year, but now I feel inspired again.  I do love a slam!
